Can someone explain what happens during a veeg. I am scheduled for one next month.Do I need to do anything tp prepare for this

It is a EEG on Video... Depending on how long it willo be you may get very board... I suggest you bring some books or laptop if access is available.

It's an eeg but with a microphone and camera added. It can get boring so the books, computer are good ideas. Maybe take a few puzzle books, too. For me, the wires ran from my head to a box on a belt. Then the other end of the box was connected to the wall so you're really on a leash. An important thing to remember is button-down shirts. With the wires, you can't put shirts on, take them off. Then it's just looking forward to going through things you never wanted to do before. In other words, going off meds, hyperventilating, sleep-deprivation could be a part of it. My veeg led to my surgery that led to me having no more seizures so I have to say it was worth it.
