LoL: I use to walk a dog that bit,in fact ,if the dog bit one more time he was going to be put down. I was actually interviewed to see if the dog was going to accept me. He did, and I walked him for 3 months, its easy to forget the dog is biter. He loves you, he is good with you, so you think of course he won't bite again. While I was him I forgot and he almost bit a child I got pulled him back in time. I guess what I am trying to say is, when you love the dog and he is gently and loving with you its easy to forget he bites. He wasn't even my dog, his owner lived in fear of him biting again. She loved him so.

My dog CAN bite, I know this and to protect others, I can't forget this. My state has STRICT laws on dangerous dogs and they won't hesitate to confisgate and destroy a dog who has bitten. One must PROVE the dog was prevoked, which isn't easy to prove, especially when a child is involved.

I was walking my brothers friend dog in Montreal because she broke her ankle, I have no idea the laws etc. I just walked the dog one summer and it was alot of fun. She had him on a leash,no muzzle. He didn't get the child, but I did forget what she said about letting anyone near him, because he was great with me. So in reality it was my negligence, thank god I was fast enough to protect the child and the dog and never let anyone touch him again.
